Whilst Hartwell House is set within an elegant, centuries old structure, the hotel's services are far from antique. Hartwell House offers all the conveniences and high level of service that you would expect from a world-class hotel.

Amongst the services and amenities available to you during your stay are:

• Dining Room
  Breakfast, 7.30am - 9.30am
  Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays, 8.00am - 10.00am
  Breakfast can be served in your bedroom.
  Luncheon, 12.30pm - 1.45pm (last orders).
  Dinner, 7.30pm - 9.45pm (last orders).
  May we suggest that guests wishing to eat
  in the Dining Room should reserve their table
  through the Restaurant Manager or Reception.
  Dress: Is smart please in the Dining Room,
  although jacket and tie are not obligatory;
  trainers, tracksuits, and shorts are not acceptable.



• Spa Buttery & Bar
  The Spa Buttery is open from 9.00am - 5.00pm (5.30pm on Sundays) each day for breakfast, morning coffee, luncheon, snacks and drinks. The Spa Bar is open until 6.00pm (Monday to Saturday) and 5.30pm on Sundays



• Early morning calls and tea
  These services may be ordered from the Hall Porter or Reception.



• Newspapers
  Newspapers may be ordered from the Hall Porter or Reception.



• Afternoon tea
  Tea is served in the Great Hall, Morning Room, Drawing Room and Library between 3:30pm - 5:30pm (Monday to Friday), 4:00pm - 5:00pm (Saturdays) and
  4:30pm - 5:30pm on Sundays. For room service, Room Service should be dialled.



• Drinks service
  Drinks are served in all the public rooms and in the bedrooms; Room Service should be dialled.



• Telephones
  Direct Dial calls may be made from the rooms by dialling 9, followed by the number required. If difficulties are experienced, Reception should be dialled for assistance. The Hotel's telephone charge, per metered unit, is displayed by the telephones. The telephones have a data port for dial up internet access.



• WIFI
  Broadband wireless access is available in bedrooms both in the Main House and Hartwell Court as well as in the Hartwell Rooms and the Old Rectory. Pin access codes may be requested from Reception in either the Main House or Spa Reception.



• Accounts
  Access, Barclaycard, Mastercard, Visa, American Express credit cards are accepted, as well as cheques, by prior arrangement.



• Adapters
  The voltage in the bedrooms is 220/240 volts A.C.



• Arrival
  Rooms are available for guests arrival from 2:30pm. Should guests require early occupation, please contact Reservations who will endeavour to make the necessary arrangements.



• Bathrobes
  Bathrobes, like those in the bathrooms, are available for purchase from Reception.



• Bathmats
  Non-slip bathmats are available in the bathroom pedestal stool.



• Bedboards
  Bedboards are available in addition to extra blankets, and feather or foam pillows. Dial Reception to request these items.



• Departure
  Rooms should be vacated by 11:30am. Luggage should be packed so that it may be collected by 11:30am on the day of departure. Our maids may then service rooms in readiness for guests expected that afternoon. The Porter will gladly help with storage or any other problem, if a late departure is planned.



• Dogs
  Dogs are accepted in the bedrooms in Hartwell Court only.



• Facsimile and E-mail
  The hotel has E-mail and facsimile machines available for sending and receiving documents. Please contact Reception for these services.



• Fire Precaution
  Hartwell House holds a current Fire Certificate and is equipped with smoke and heat detector equipment. All staff are regularly trained in fire precautions. The Fire Notice, inside the bedroom door, should be read.



• For the hard of hearing
  The fire alarm systems throughout give audible warnings. The deaf or hard of hearing should contact Reception so that, in the event of a fire, the staff are aware of this.



• Flowers
  Flowers may be ordered from Reception and delivered locally on the same day.



• Hairdryers
  In all rooms, hairdryers can be found in or by the dressing table.



• Heating Controls
  Guests may control the temperature of the radiators in their bedrooms by adjusting the valve at the base of the radiator, or by adjusting the thermostat on the wall in the room, as appropriate.



• Laundry and Dry Cleaning
  A 24 house service is available Monday to Friday. Please contact Reception. Pressing - 2 hour service. Irons may not be used in bedrooms.



• Mail
  A mailbox is provided at the Reception desk for daily collections. Stamps and stationery are available from Reception.



• Meetings
  The Hartwell Rooms are available for meetings and receptions. By special arrangements some reception rooms in the house can be made available for private entertaining. Private dining rooms are also available. Please contact Reception for further information.



• Night Porter and Shoe Cleaning
  For assistance during the night, the Night Porter should be dialed.



• Other Services
  Should you require the services of a doctor, dentist, beauty therapist or a hairdressing appointment, theatre tickets, postcards and maps of the area, please contact the Hall Porter.



• Picnics
  Should you require a picnic to take with you on your day out, these are available. Please order with the Restaurant Manager or Reception the evening before, before 10.00pm.



• Room Service
  Available at all times, orders should be placed by dialing Room Service.



• Sightseeing Tour Taxi Service
  Chauffeur driven cars, with experienced local drivers, are available and may be booked with the Hall Porter.



• Smoking
  Hartwell House is non-smoking throughout in compliance with the No Smoking Regulations in respect of all rooms and bedrooms. It is illegal to smoke in these rooms and a deep cleaning charge of £100 per day will be charged if evidence of smoking is detected in any room.



• Tennis
  Two all weather tennis courts are situated in the grounds. Please book at the Hartwell Spa.



• Valuables and Key and Safe Deposits
  The Hotel can only accept responsibility for valuables deposited with the Manager, for safe keeping, in one of the Hotel's private safety deposit boxes. Bedroom doors should be locked and room keys given to Reception, especially when the Hotel is being left. The bedroom doors are not self-locking, except the bedrooms in Hartwell Court.
