We have two delightful ground floor rooms in the house suitable for private luncheon and dinner parties. The Octagon Room, in the style of a tented pavilion, will hold up to twenty six people and the Doric Dining Room can take up to thirty six. The dining-room in the Old Rectory (Hartwell) may also be used for private dining and holds eight people.

In addition to private dining to facilitate an event or special occasion, Hartwell House also offers in-room dining through our Room Service menu. For those wanting to venture out into the gardens, parkland, or countryside, our restaurant staff would be delighted to prepare a gourmet picnic for the occasion.

For the larger private party we are able to dine up to sixty people in the James Wyatt Room, situated in the Hartwell Court, some 150 yards from the main house.
