For marriages and civil partnerships, Hartwell House provides a glorious setting from which to entertain your guests on your wedding day.
A FLEXIBLE CHOICE FOR YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY
Hartwell House has four rooms licensed to stage the ceremony, as well as a choice of magnificent drawing rooms to entertain your guests.
The Soane Room - creates a stunning setting with its arched windows overlooking the lawns, perfect for a maximum number of 84 guests.
The James Wyatt Room – located in Hartwell Court looking out onto a cobbled courtyard with an elegant corridor leading to it, with a maximum of 72 guests.
The Doric Room – offers an intimate setting for a ceremony of up to 36 guests with access leading out to the south terrace of the main house.
The Octagon Room – the perfect setting for a smaller ceremony with up to 16 guests. It has beautiful view over the lawns and a tented ceiling adorned with a stunning crystal chandelier.
For a smaller ceremony with less than 15 guests, we offer the choice of the Library or Drawing Room, both of which create an elegant, intimate setting.
For non-legal ceremonies, we are also able to offer the Gibbs Pavilion in the garden.
Yours Exclusively
Using the south terrace, a truly magnificent setting and backdrop, an exclusive use marquee wedding enables a larger wedding for up to 150 guests where you will also have exclusive use on the day of the main house public rooms, dining rooms and 32 bedrooms and suites in the main house and 16 in Hartwell Court.
