CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING BREAKFAST MENU

One of the more difficult tasks facing you will be choosing a menu that is suitable to all tastes. To make your choice a little easier, we offer the following dishes for your selection.

ALLERGENS AND SPECIAL DIETS

If a guest has a food allergy or intolerance, we request that they consult a member of staff before deciding what to eat and placing an order, on every occasion, whilst in the hotel.  Whilst we are committed to informing our guess accurately of any allergenic contents in the dishes served here, and also to complying with specific dietary requests, there remains a risk, albeit small, that traces from other dishes may be present in food served here, or on surfaces

Our wedding menu is priced at £54.00 per person includes 2 chefs choice canapés, a set menu of first course, main course, pudding, and coffee/tea with Hartwell handmade chocolates

FIRST COURSES

Prawns bound in cocktail sauce
on crisp iceberg lettuce, avocado puree, lemon gel and tomato salad.
Herb crusted cured Scottish salmon
with citrus fennel, pomegranate, and toasted sunflower seed salad
Carpaccio of Beef Fillet
with a soused vegetable salad and rocket and horseradish salad.
Pressed confit of chicken and wild mushrooms
with crispy shallot, bacon salad and a port wine reduction
Slow poached ham hock
and parsley terrine, piccalli, and lamb's leaf salad
Twice baked goats cheese soufflè
with pear puree and toasted walnut salad

SOUPS

Roasted vine tomato and capsicum soup
with feta cheese, balsamic and croutons
Cream of leek and potato soup 
with poached smoked haddock, chive crème frâiche and caviar
Carrot soup
with ginger, iceberg and carrot foam

MAIN COURSES

Pan fillet of sea bass
with crushed peas, rosti potato, charred leeks and white wine sauce
Fillet of Scottish salmon
with spinach, roasted shallot, cocotte potatoes, and chive butter sauce
Fillet of Cornish hake
with crushed potatoes, shaved fennel, green beans, confit tomato and a shell fish sauce
Breast of chicken
with sautèed spinach, forest mushrooms, pickled onions, parisienne potatoes and forest mushroom sauce
Cutlet and crispy croquette of Oxfordshire lamb
with green leaf vegetables, butternut squash, rosemary fondant potato, and lamb jus
Fillet of beef Wellington
with dauphinoise potato, glazed vegetables with a port wine and shallot sauce
(£7.00 supplement)

PUDDINGS

Valrhona Monjari chocolate delice with raspberry sorbet and chocolate wafer
Caramelised passion fruit and lime tart with exotic fruits, coconut and white rum ice cream
Lemon Pavlova with candied lemon zest and poached fruits
Cherry cardamon soufflè with poached cherries and a cherry ripple ice cream (£2 supplement)
A selection of British cheese and homemade biscuits with bread, chutney and grapes.

These are of course suggestions and we will be happy to discuss any other requirements you may have, including vegetarian dishes.

Bespoke menus are available on request. 

Fresh and locally sourced produce where possible.

WEDDING BREAKFAST BUFFET MENU

Our Wedding Breakfast Buffet Menu is priced at £30.00 per person and is available for parties of over 50 and up to 90 guests.

To compile your wedding breakfast buffet menu, please choose either Danish (open) or closed sandwiches with a choice of six fillings from the list below:

Closed sandwiches:
Cheese and pickle
Avocado salad
Prawns and Marie Rose sauce
Angus beef, horseradish and tomato
Coronation chicken
Smoked salmon and cucumber
Bacon, tomato and lettuce
Tuna and sweetcorn
Roasted turkey, lettuce and mayonnaise

Open Danish sandwiches:
Cheese and char-grilled pepper
Oak smoked salmon, caper and shallot
Roasted sirloin of beef, gherkin and cherry tomato
Smoked turkey and mayonnaise
Salami and pickle
Mozzarella and tomato
Hen’s egg and mustard cress

and eight items from below to complement your buffet:-
