CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING BREAKFAST MENU

One of the more difficult tasks facing you will be choosing a menu that is suitable to all tastes. To make your choice a little easier, we offer the following dishes for your selection.

ALLERGENS AND SPECIAL DIETS

If a guest has a food allergy or intolerance, we request that they consult a member of staff before deciding what to eat and placing an order, on every occasion, whilst in the hotel.  Whilst we are committed to informing our guess accurately of any allergenic contents in the dishes served here, and also to complying with specific dietary requests, there remains a risk, albeit small, that traces from other dishes may be present in food served here, or on surfaces

Our wedding menu is priced at £47.00 per person, choosing a set menu of first course, main course, pudding, and coffee & sweetmeats.

FIRST COURSES

Prawns bound in cocktail sauce
on crisp iceberg lettuce, avocado and tomato salad.
Beetroot cured Scottish salmon
with citrus crème fraiche and orange salad
Carpaccio of Beef Fillet
with a soused vegetable salad and rocket salad.
Terrine of chicken and wild mushrooms
wrapped in smoked bacon with port reduction and mixed leaf salad
Hartwell mixed salad
with chicken, bacon lardons, pine nuts, avocado and vine tomatoes
Goats cheese mousse
with vine tomato, pesto dressing, and rocket leaf salad

SOUPS

Roasted vine tomato and red pepper soup
finished with goats cheese cream and pesto
Pea and mint soup
with braised Old Spot ham hock
Cream of carrot and ginger soup
with crisp iceberg bound in crème fraiche

MAIN COURSES

Pan fillet of sea bass
with pea puree, leeks, rosti potato and white wine sauce
Fillet of Scottish salmon
with haricot bean puree, spinach, roasted shallot and a red wine fish sauce
Paupiette of sole with salmon mousse
creamed potatoes, spaghetti of vegetables, tomato, herb and a white wine sauce
Ballottine of chicken and streaky bacon
with creamed potatoes, buttered spinach and wild mushroom sauce
Slow braised shoulder of lamb
with rosemary fondant potato, butternut squash puree, green leaf
vegetables and rosemary sauce
Fillet of beef Wellington
with dauphinoise potato, glazed vegetables with a port wine and shallot sauce

PUDDINGS

Valrhona dark chocolate delice with raspberry sorbet and chocolate wafer
Caramelised passion fruit and lime tart with exotic fruits and coconut ice cream
Lemon Pavlova with candied lemon zest and poached fruits
Japanese style milk chocolate mousse with orange salad and orange sorbet
Strawberry souffle with strawberry and champagne sauce, strawberry compote
and clotted cream ice cream (£5 supplement)

These are of course suggestions and we will be happy to discuss any other requirements you may have, including vegetarian dishes or for those with special dietary needs.

WEDDING BREAKFAST BUFFET MENU

Our Wedding Breakfast Buffet Menu is priced at £36.00 per person and is available for parties of over 20 and up to 150 guests.

To compile your wedding breakfast buffet menu, please choose either Danish (open) or closed sandwiches with a choice of six fillings from the list below:

Angus beef, horseradish and tomato
Coronation chicken
