Friday 14th October - Lunch & Garden Tour
"Getting ready for the Winter" with Richard Jones
Join Richard Jones, our Head Gardener, on a tour of the grounds to explain how he prepares our 90 acres of parkland and gardens ready for the winter months.
Arrive for coffee at 11.00am in the Library followed by the garden tour, finishing with a delicious two-course lunch with coffee and a glass of wine, all for £32 per person. A change of footwear is advisable!
Friday 4th November - Talk & Lunch
"How to manage Wild Deer" with Eur Ing Lawson MacKellar
Ever wondered about the origin of deer in the UK, and how the deer population is managed? Join us for an illustrated talk with Eur Ing Lawson MacKellar, a recreational deer stalker for over 30 years working with groups managing wild deer. Commence with a glass of Prosecco in the Library at 12 noon, followed by a delicious two-course lunch with a glass of wine and coffee, all for £35 per person.
Friday 25th November - Ladies Who Lunch
We are delighted to welcome back 'Ladies Who Lunch' - whose jewellery makes "a couture concept affordable". In addition to their own designs - handcrafted from vintage beads, Indian glass, semi precious stones and quiky chams - the collection also includes unusual pieces from other designers. Ideal opportunity to find 'something different' as a Christmas gift.
Join us for a glass of Winter Pimms while viewing the collection, followed by a delicious two-course lunch. The cost of £35 per person includes a glass of Winter Pimms on arrival, two-course lunch with a glass of wine, coffee and a goodie bag and discounts for purchases on the day.
Sunday 11th December - Christmas Recital with Paul Harris and friends
We are pleased to welcome back Paul Harris and friends, who will perform a selection of Christmas songs and carols to get you in the festive spirit. Hartwell's Christmas Afternoon Tea will be served at 5pm, followed by the recital, finishing with a glass of mulled wine and mince pies, all for £44 per person.
If you just wish to listen to the recital and have a glass of mulled wine and mince pies, we have a number of seats available on the 1st floor gallery for £39 per person.
Friday 27th January - Hartwell's Eighth Wine Dinner and Vinosity Challenge
Start 2017 joining our popular wine dinner with a difference! Head Chef will prepare a delicious three-course dinner complemented by selected wines. The evening will commence with wine tastings and a tour of the cellars conducted by Tony Critchley, who buys all Hartwell's wines, before sitting down to dinner. Mystery wines will be served during dinner followed by a light hearted "Vinosity Challenge" quiz on subjects viniferous - with prizes for the winners!
The tour and tastings will commence at 7.30pm with dinner served at 8.15pm. Price is £70 per person to include dinner and wines. Enjoy a fun evening out and sample some of the wines from Hartwell's 'AA Notable Wine List for 2016'.
Enjoy our special accommodation rate if attending the dinner from £220 per room, based on double occupancy to include Wi-Fi, cooked breakfast, use of the Spa (subject to availabilty)
Sunday 19th February - A Romantic Recital with Alexander Ardakov
We are delighted to welcome back Alexander Ardakov, who will perform a selection of romantic pieces for the piano. Afternoon Tea will be served at 5pm followed by the recital at 6pm, finishing with a glass of Prosecco and canapes, all for £44 per person.
